BENNE'S AFTER SCHOOL
ACTIVITY CLUB
A place that is safe and fun for your children when you are still at work.
BennE's is held in the Community Centre every week day during term times from the end of the school day until 6 pm. BennE's After School Activity Club is for children in the Hemel area who need a fun place to be from the time school finishes to 6.00pm.
The club serves schools in the Bennetts End area and is held in the Community Centre. It caters for children between the ages of 5 to 11 years.
Trained leaders with relevant qualifications and first aid diplomas run the club. The Children's Act 1989, requires a ratio of 1:8 and this is strictly adhered to, in addition all the staff are police checked.
A member of staff will be responsible for meeting your child from school and escorting them to the
club. On arrival the child will be registered. They will get a light meal and then be free to take advantage of the many activities on offer. A member of staff will help with any homework in a quiet area and allow the child to rest if they need to
.
Any parent can use the club, you can book your child in 5 days a week, 1 day a term or any combination you wish. There is a standard rate of £4.00 for under eight's and £5.00 for over eight's who may stay until 6.00pm. Just phone Gloria on 01442 393201 between 7.30 and 9.00pm or weekends to put your mind at rest, Or just pop in to either talk with Sharon Lowe in the BENA Office or when the after Schools Club is open to be assured that your child will like the activities happening each evening.
