| There has been a change in the Neighbourhood Watch Management. The police are looking for Volunteers to become |
|
|
| Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators; a NHW Co-ordinator will receive updates on local issues affecting the area including the quality |
|
| of life issues from the Neighbourhood Watch Liaison Officer (WLO). These issues then get relayed to residents of the watch, |
|
| ensuring that watch members will be aware and vigilant at all times, effectively prepared against current crime trends. A new system has |
|
| also been developed that will enable the more efficient transfer of information via email, which makes the role more |
|
|
effective and less labour intensive, minimising the time required to dedicate to the position.
